Second Ayush Medical Camp Held in Ferozepur, 538 Patients Examined
The second Ayush medical camp was organised at Gurdwara Sahib in Sur Singh Wala village of Ferozepur district as part of a series of 10 healthcare camps planned for rural areas.
The camp was organised under the guidance of Ayush Commissioner Punjab and senior Ayurveda and Homoeopathy officials. A total of 538 patients were examined during the camp. Free blood sugar tests were conducted, and medicines were distributed to patients at no cost.
The first camp of the series was held at Talwandi Bhai on September 10, 2026, where 531 patients received medical services, including free sugar tests and medicines.
Doctors and staff from both the Ayurveda and Homoeopathy departments provided services at the Sur Singh Wala camp. The departments said the remaining camps would be conducted as scheduled to ensure that people living in rural areas can access basic healthcare services closer to their homes.
The initiative aims to make Ayush-based healthcare services more accessible to people in rural parts of Ferozepur district.
